Two Queens
Margaret Thatcher was the first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. However, the British public didn’t unanimously love her because she shut down many industries. The Queen also had a complex relationship with Thatcher for several reasons.

Firstly, the Queen allegedly disagreed with some of Thatcher’s policies and world views. But the PM also made Elizabeth feel secure about herself because of Thatcher’s charisma. Some people felt that Thatcher was more regal than the Queen because of her height and aura (via Daily Beast).
