Monica July 31, 2023

We’ve all done something stupid like stealing or attempting a shameless scam. These decisions were usually ones we regretted but were eventually able to forget about. Most of the time (hopefully), they didn’t end up on the internet. However, some people out there who have also done some shocking things even managed to stun the internet with their baffling stupidity.

We can thank these people for the entertainment, and the reminder that we’re a lot saner than we give ourselves credit for. Sit back and laugh with these people who shocked tons of people online with their sheer stupidity here.

50) Vaccine Over Meth?

The COVID vaccine is a polarizing topic today whether you support it or disagree with it. Whichever the case, it’s often best for both sides to keep their opinions to themselves. This person on Facebook decided to post about their decision to get the vaccine. When their friend gave their honest opinion, they got told off, big time. Now everyone on Facebook knows this person has done meth. It’s harsh to call someone out like that publicly, but apparently, the vaccine is a touchy subject for them. We also shouldn’t judge people by their past, since many of us have done some regrettable things in our past. Unfortunately, this person messed with the wrong friend and received some horrible repercussions for their comment (via Kueez).

How do you prove you’re missing something if you don’t have it? This customer service department surprised the internet with their baffling stupidity when they asked a customer to prove they never received a lamp. This person wanted to make a point that he didn’t receive the lamp by sending not one but five photos of their empty hand holding nothing but air. It looks like pretty solid proof. We’re not sure how customer service could argue against that. Kudos to this customer (via Kueez).

48) The Way We Think

Interestingly, people believe every word scientists say about outer space, but once it has to do something with our survival on earth, it’s game over. This guy’s Tweet has a point. He pointed out the baffling stupidity of humans. When NASA landed a rover on Mars, the world was impressed, but when they tell us to wear a mask to help prevent the spread of a virus, it’s suddenly a lie. This poster pointed out that there’s no logic in our way of thinking. At the very least, we’ll continue to feel grateful for discoveries made in outer space. Just not the ones made here on Earth (via Kueez).

When a loved one is pregnant, it’s one of the most exciting times of our lives. A lot of the time, people don’t want to know if it’s a boy or a girl. It keeps everything a surprise. However, this person clearly doesn’t understand the process of being an aunt or an uncle. They think it depends on the gender of the baby when it depends on their gender. At least their baffling stupidity provided immense entertainment. Maybe they shouldn’t even be an aunt or uncle if this is their actual intelligence level (via Buzzfeed).

46) Think Before You Speak

In a situation like this, it only takes one moment to research the artist and see where they’re from. It sounds like this person wanted to be angry at someone, so they decided to shame System Of a Down for donating money to Armenia instead of the USA. Well, it turns out they are Armenian and they are donating money to their own country. It’s not a kind comment at all, especially considering the artists were doing something charitable and good for their own country. Either way, it’s always a good idea to think before you speak, whether that’s on the Internet or in real life (via Kueez).

Conservative journalists receive a lot of backlash as it is. In this day and age, things are changing rapidly. There’s no way change isn’t going to happen, so it’s better if they accept the facts and move on. People are becoming more accepting of alternative ways of living and expressing themselves. This conservative journalist shocked the internet with this baffling stupidity when he complained about a gay cruise ad being advertised on a military website. It’s actually a Google AdSense ad. That’s embarrassing. It was too late by the time he found out, considering it’s now advertised on the internet. It’s just another example of thinking before you speak (via beerbellybegone).

Without science, we wouldn’t know anything about our cells. Or the genetic makeup of the human body. Or atoms, electrons, and all that good stuff that’s unseeable to the human eye. Thanks, science! This person shocked the internet with their baffling stupidity when they told everyone to “Trust your Cells, not science.” That should be quoted and hung on a wall. If this guy brushed up on his science textbooks, he’d quickly realize that cells were discovered because of science. Let’s just hope there was a typo, and he meant to say, “trust yourself,” instead of “your cells.” We’ll never know, but whichever the case, he set himself up for internet backlash big time (via Kueez).

Sometimes it seems like banks live in a different reality where math and numbers are the opposite of what they are in this reality. People who live in the city, like this person, know just how expensive rent is. Commonly, people live paycheck to paycheck, and barely get by with just enough for food and maybe a beer once a month. Even though that’s the case, the bank still won’t trust you with a mortgage that’s lower than your current, expensive rent. The banks shocked the internet with their baffling stupidity, and we know it’s not the first time (via Kueez).

This person is in such a hurry that they can’t wait five minutes for a reply. The person on the receiving end has a life and isn’t waiting around for someone to purchase their item. This person blamed them for being late to pick up their daughter and demanded a price reduction. He wants someone to blame, and it’s anyone but himself. Five minutes is a fast response time, so this person just shocked the internet with their baffling stupidity. At least the person on the receiving end was able to retaliate and said “tell your daughter I’m sorry you’re her dad.” That’s genius (via Dear-Investment-8856).

You can’t have two sides and pick the best parts of both. That’s not how it works. This person surprised the internet with their baffling stupidity by mentioning they wanted business open and real-life back but didn’t want the vaccine. That person’s comment is gold, and they totally and publicly roasted them on the internet. Maybe this person needs to move to another planet, where they can construct a vaccine-less reality they want to live in (via Kueez).

We all know that doesn’t last because it isn’t necessarily healthy. Most of us grow out of that phase. It seems like this person, who stunned the internet with their baffling stupidity, doesn’t realize that phrase isn’t healthy. He claims that once he has a girl, he’ll never speak to another woman ever again. What is he going to do, never leave his house? Let’s hope he meant he’ll never flirt with another woman because he’s going to have a problem if he’s at a restaurant and the server is a female, or if he’s at a bank and the teller is female (via throwawaylikearock).

Intelligence isn’t black or white, it’s not something you “have or don’t have.” Intelligence comes in many different shapes and sizes, which this person clearly doesn’t understand. The girlfriend seems pleased, though, since she doesn’t have to lose her boyfriend now. Let’s just hope the relationship works out. Otherwise, that’s just sad. By the looks of it, it’s an extremely possible scenario. It’s easy to roast this guy and his innocence, though. We’d have loved to see his friend’s response. But after it was made very clear how important it was to wear your mask correctly, it’s unforgivable. As this person states, it’s easier to potty train a toddler. It takes less than a year. It’s not a difficult concept to grasp. Toddlers learn how to use the toilet faster. Maybe those who wear their masks under their noses just don’t care. Don’t wear the stolen products when trying to scam a business. That’s a standard rule for any would-be thieves out there but this idiot didn’t get the message. Perhaps he was testing the alertness of the store because he didn’t think they’d notice. In the end, it didn’t work out for him.

Wild_Alaskan said: “Most of the customers I deal with are other businesses. It’s not uncommon for them to order something, then put it on a shelf and forget about it for 10 years. Then, when they clean out that shelf they’ll try to return the part as if they bought it yesterday.”
