Another issue that Musk has is a lack of common sense. It’s incredible how somebody with so much money and business experience is incapable of considering major details. One of these is that the rest of the world doesn’t function like the United States. For example, in Europe, it’s generally illegal to fire somebody without prior notice.

Another serious issue for Musk and Twitter is that they can’t keep their senior executives. Many of the most important people in the company have departed since the Tesla king took over. Musk pretends that he cares about free speech but this is catnip for right-wingers. He doesn’t understand the importance of moderation or that most people don’t want to see hateful comments.
