Most people expect to enjoy the benefits of their hotel’s pool or breakfast buffet. However, they don’t want to deal with the manager trying to sell them the entire facility. One visitor to India couldn’t handle the staff’s heavy-handed approach.
“The owner kept trying to sell me the hotel and asked if I knew anybody in England who would buy it,” they wrote in a state of despair. While it’s inappropriate behavior, the tourist could have changed hotel or smiled and walked away politely (via Financial Express).
