Some of us strive for success. We pour our heart and soul into our goals and hope they turn into something. It takes trial and error to figure out what works best for us and how we need to organize our goals and what we need to strive for. This person shares one of their inner thoughts about being a former achiever.
They said, “I am a former overachiever who has amounted to nothing. The hopes and pressure from those around me made it harder to realize that being good in school doesn’t mean you are smart, and if not for them I might have set my sights lower and succeeded at something.” It’s unfortunate that they’re figuring this out too late and happened this way.
