These Entitled Beggars Make Us Lose Our Faith In Humanity

Monica November 30, 2022

We see it too often online these days. People who believe others owe them everything for no particular reason at all. These entitled beggars are people who don’t bring anything to the table. No one wants to hang around someone who complains and expects the world to give them what they want, especially when they’re ungrateful about it. Most of the time, we can ignore someone who begs.

But sometimes, these entitled beggars cause too much of a commotion to ignore. Through their childish complaints, we lose faith in humanity. Whether these dumb people are wasting our time through constant attempts at selling or trying to scam us, these people need to learn a thing or two about respect.

Everyday Monkey

Persistent Beggar

This person is one of those entitled beggars who wouldn’t give up. They live in their own reality where they won’t take no for an answer. This person tried to buy a TV even though the seller told them it was already sold. Three times. Is this beggar trying to troll them? How many times can someone tell you no? They even tried to haggle the price, even though the seller was straight up and told them it wasn’t available. Good riddance (via Everyday Monkey)!

Everyday Monkey

Trying To Relate

To be honest, this haggler is hilarious. He’s one of those entitled beggars that tried to relate to the seller but failed. He also needs to go back to math class, because he clearly doesn’t understand was 10% off means. Not only that, but he lied about his name. We appreciate the seller’s list of reasons for calling out the buyer. We’re not sure why the buyer thought he could buy something that costs $1,500 for $150, but at least he tried and failed miserably (via Everyday Monkey).

Reddit

Pay The Waitstaff

This boss is one of those entitled beggars that expects his customers to pay his wait staff instead of him. Because he’s too cheap to pay his servers a normal wage, he asks his customers to tip more to make up for the lost salary. This is ridiculous. We understand tipping 20 percent, as that’s a common courtesy when you go out to dinner. But asking people to pay more just because you’re too cheap to pay yourself is extremely rude (via Reddit).

Everyday Monkey

Ungrateful

This woman sounds like one of those entitled beggars who wants her man to pay for everything including her meals. It’s almost 2023, men and women usually split the bill nowadays. Getting treated to dinner is a beautiful gift someone could give you. Because it didn’t match her expectations, she complained. This is a relationship that doesn’t sound like it’s going to last for very long. Let’s hope that guy finds a woman who’s grateful for the meals (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Strict Resume

This resume has to be a joke. Surely no one would ever submit a resume like this and be serious about it. Megan seems like one of those entitled beggars that expect the workplace to bow down to her and work around her schedule. She’s only willing to work three to five days a week between the hours of 10 AM-3:30 PM. In a perfect world, everyone would work like that. She seems to be above everyone else. She’s certainly not the hard worker she’s made herself out to be. And she’s missing some critical parts of her resume, like previous work experience, references, and education. There’s no way she’s ever going to get a job if this is the resume she’s submitting to everyone (via Everyday Monkey).

Reddit

Can’t Afford Repairs

If you can’t afford the repairs, why are you even buying something in the first place? This buyer tried to haggle down the price of an already discounted piece of furniture. They also tried to guilt-trip the seller by saying it’s not “going to a rich home.” That statement was unnecessary. If the deal doesn’t work for your budget, find another deal, period. Entitled beggars like to waste other people’s time (via Reddit).

Everyday Monkey

Pay To Work

Some entitled beggars live in their own confusing world. This person thinks that people pay to work. He expects someone to pay him $400 to take his garage off of his property. Oh, and he says he’s not responsible if they end up getting hurt. This one is ridiculous. How does someone even have the audacity to post this on the internet and be serious about it? He wants free labor and to make a profit out of it. It looks like that garage isn’t going anywhere anytime soon if he’s not willing to get it off of his property himself (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Funky Grits

We understand people leave negative reviews for restaurants when they have a bad experience. If the service was poor or the food was bad, then they have a right to express their disappointment. But entitled beggars like this one who leaves a bad review because a restaurant wasn’t open on their terms, make us lose faith in humanity. It’s just embarrassing. Not only has Funky Grits been open for an entire year, but they’re serving people at the fair. This person doesn’t want to give them a second chance because they weren’t open or available on their schedule. It’s probably a good thing this customer didn’t eat at Funky Grits, as the restaurant deserves better customers (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Poor Daughter

If this daughter has a dad like this, there’s no saying what her teenage years will be like. He freaked out that the seller took five minutes to respond to his messages, and then blamed the seller he was late picking up his daughter. These entitled beggars need to learn a thing or two about respect. He sounds desperate for this couch, too. If he needed a couch that badly, he should go to the store and get one. Not only that, but he also demanded a reduction in the couch’s price because he was late picking up his daughter. If only the world worked like that, and we could blame other people for our problems. Luckily, this seller had the last word. We’re sorry you’re her dad, too (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Done With The Complaints

It sounds like this dog groomer has had enough of people’s complaints. We’re surprised so many people complain that a dog groomer costs more than a hairdresser. This groomer listed every single reason why it costs more to groom a dog than a person. At least that’ll shut up the entitled beggars. This list is hilarious and there’s no way someone could argue against it. Being a pet groomer sounds like a lot of work, too, and that is way people pay that extra fee so they don’t have to be the ones to groom their pets (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

The Scammer

Thanks to this guy, that scammer isn’t making a buck. It turns out that he won’t take anything less than five dollars, lives in a nice house, and has a new Jeep. He’s scamming people into thinking he’s poor and living on the streets. Entitled beggars that lie and scam people to make their way to the top make us shake our heads and roll our eyes. Luckily, this guy holding the sign shed some light on the truth. Now this guy isn’t making a penny. He needs to get his act together and get a real job like the rest of us (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Left On Read

This audacity of this person is bold. They outright stole these headphones from their friend. We understand the initial miscommunication, but the fact that they kept the headphones anyway is rude. There’s an expectation when you lend something to a friend that you’ll get it back. This person kept their friend’s $250 headphones just because they didn’t have any. They even told them to get another pair as a gift. These entitled beggars seem to believe the world revolves around them. To top it all off, they left their friend and read. We’re not sure this person ever got those headphones back. But they may have lost a friend after that (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Disrespectful Friend

Expecting a friend to do something for free is unreasonable. This person went to school to study how to be a photographer. Their friend expected them to take professional engagement photos for free and then commented on how they were disappointed they even charged them in the first place. This doesn’t sound like a supportive friend at all, and instead of paying their friend for their services and creativity, they went ahead and booked another photographer. Honestly, this photographer is better off with other friends. These entitled beggars aren’t going to have any friends left if they keep acting like this (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Extra Help

It’s not easy asking for money, but sometimes, you have no other option. People get themselves into a rut and need a little extra help to get out. Usually, they only ask for a few bucks, not $200. Entitled beggars think they can get a couple of hundred bucks just by asking. But this person asked the wrong stranger because instead of getting money, this stranger sent them jobs in the San Diego area. That’s the smartest move. We wonder what that person’s reaction was upon getting that link instead of a quick and easy $200 (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Draw Me

Entitled beggars that ask artists to work for them for free are plain rude. It’s common knowledge not to ask someone to draw you for free, especially when they’re an expert in their field. Luckily, this artist had a good sense of humor and gave the woman a picture for free. That’s what free artwork looks like, ladies and gentlemen. There’s no way she would’ve expected to receive a photograph like this when she opened her phone, but she got what she deserved (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Knock Half Off

This person’s already getting a free dishwasher. Why would they ask for more free things to make it worth their time? Dishwashers are expensive; the fact that they’re getting one for free is incredible. These entitled beggars just want more and more and can never have enough. The seller came back with a hilarious statement and told them they’ll give it to them for half off. But what’s half off of free – it’s zero (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Jolly Christmas

Christmas can be one of the most stressful times of the year, especially for single parents who are struggling with money. Instead of being responsible for their actions, though, entitled beggars tend to blame others for their shortcomings. Trying to find gifts for friends and family can feel like an impossible task, but it’s also a good way to reflect on your year, job, and expenses. This buyer tried to ask for hundreds of dollars off of something that was already more than 50 percent off. We understand the stress, but the fact that she blamed the seller for ruining her children’s Christmas is absurd. The seller’s snarky response was called for, and they have every right to say what they did (via Everyday Monkey).

Reddit

Free iPhone 7 and Above

We don’t understand people who ask for things for free. That’s not how the world works. People earn their money by working and exchanging their services. What’s worse is that this person asked for iPhone 7s and above for free in good condition. We’re not sure why they thought that would work, but they tried their best. They got it handed to them, though, with the comment underneath. Hopefully, they learned a thing or two about asking for something for free (via Reddit).

Everyday Monkey

Haggle Fail

Some people are good at haggling, while others are just terrible. Haggling is an art form and requires a lot of skill and practice. When the seller agrees to a lower price, you should just accept it instead of trying to shave off a bunch more money. This person already managed to haggle the price down, but their ego got in the way and they tried to shave even more money off of it. This backfired and the seller added money to the price. Entitled beggars possess arrogance that ends up putting them in a worse position (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Free Babysitter

No one wants to babysit for free. No one. Good luck trying to find a reputable babysitter who will watch your kids for free. Aren’t your kids worth the cost? How could you expect a service to be for free? The only time babysitting is ever free is when the kid’s grandma or grandpa watches them. A free babysitter doesn’t sound like a good idea, and entitled beggars need to stop trying to cut corners to save money. Finding a babysitter is worth the investment (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Surcharge For Talking

If you’re going to argue with a salesman that you can find a cheaper part online, then why don’t you just shop online in the first place? This happens more often than we can think of. Entitled beggars love trying to make a huge scene and save any buck they can. This is a genius way to prevent anyone from trying to argue with the price. It saves everyone’s time and prevents unnecessary arguments from happening (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Military Spouse

People who serve in the military are brave. They deserve honor and respect. It’s a huge sacrifice, and these people experience some of the toughest mental and physical days of their life. But just because you’re married to someone who served doesn’t mean you get to reap the same benefits. It’s not how it works. We do appreciate the sacrifices this military spouse went through with her husband, but that doesn’t mean she gets free drinks and food. Her complaint is undeserved. She’s one of those entitled beggars who needs to be put in her place (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Car’s Sold

Not only did this person ask the seller to buy back the car they just sold, but they asked them to then sell it for a cheaper price. Did they think that would work? That’s not how life works. Entitled beggars think they’ll get anything they ask for, even the most absurd things. They tried to make a horrible offer to see if it would work. We’ll give this person credit though because at least they tried. But they even tried to guilt-trip the seller, which didn’t work. If they need a car that bad, they need to look elsewhere (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Be Like Terry

This sign clearly describes the different types of entitled beggars. One beggar is happy with free beer while another complains that the free beer isn’t tasty enough. We all know that beggars can’t be choosers, which is why this sign says not to be like Leigha. We’re not sure where this sign belongs or who’s reading it, but it’s hilarious that someone even put in the effort. Honestly, free beer is good enough, even if it’s not the best beer in the world (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Cheapa**

Not only was this buyer extremely rude, but they called the other person a cheap a**. Moving isn’t easy and requires a lot of manual labor. It’s tiring and complicated, so charging $20/hour is extremely reasonable. For some reason, this person thought they could haggle the price down to $5/hour. When the mover didn’t agree, they reacted, cursed at them, and then huffed they would get their dad to help them. They shouldn’t be buying anything or seeking the services of others if they’re going to complain about the price (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Don’t Waste My Time

Did we read that correctly? Not only is this beggar asking for 20 dollar bills or larger, but they’re also telling others not to waste their time. How rude! They should be grateful that someone is even willing to give them any money for no reason at all. These entitled beggars need a slap back to reality. Let’s hope this person didn’t get a single dollar. We’re not sure who’d throw 20 bucks at them for no reason, anyway. At the very least, we’ll give him credit for trying (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Free Games

Asking for help requires a sort of vulnerability and bravery that not many people are willing to show. And while it’s admirable that this person asked for help, it’s not the sort of help we respect. Wanting a free Playstation is ridiculous. Not only that, but he listed certain requirements that it be used, unused, and to come with specific games. We hope this is a joke because asking for these types of things is slightly absurd (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

An Awkward 20 Bucks

Reading this conversation was cringe-worthy and we feel the awkwardness between the couple. We understand it’s hard to ask for 20 bucks, but the guy has a point. She needs to ask the baby daddy for money instead of her boyfriend. Even though they’re dating and that requires the other person’s support, it doesn’t mean he has to throw money at kids that aren’t even his. He’s respectfully putting up his boundaries, and it’s up to his girlfriend to respect those boundaries. She sounds like one of those entitled beggars who expects her partner to support her every need (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Sketchy Buyer

This one freaked us out. Not only is this buyer getting aggressive, but they showed up at the seller’s house unannounced. We’re not sure if they’re there, since it’s impossible to know where the person lived, but the fact that they’re even threatening it makes us cringe. If they wanted an iPhone that badly, they need to figure out a different solution. They’re going through all of this effort to shave a hundred bucks off the price? If we were the seller, we’d lock our doors and call the police. It looks like entitled beggars turn a bit aggressive when they don’t get the deal they wanted (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Horrible Boss

Greedy bosses are entitled beggars too. This boss has to be the worst one on the planet. This is one of the most passive-aggressive posts we’ve ever seen. He’s poking fun at his employees and subtly pointing out everything that’s wrong with them. None of his employees speak to him like he wants them to. Maybe there’s a reason he’s not hearing any of these statements. It’s time he looked in the mirror and figured out what he was doing wrong (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Plastic Computer

We’re not sure what reality this buyer lives in, but he believes he can buy a computer for $25. Computers cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. We appreciate the seller’s comeback, telling him to go and buy a plastic computer. The seller backtracked and offered to pay $35, 10 bucks more than they originally offered. There’s so much wrong with this exchange that it’s downright hilarious. This person is never going to find a computer if they believe they’ll find one for $25 (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

One Thousand and a Baby Crocodile

People go to extreme lengths just to save some money, and that includes exchanging a baby crocodile for a sale. This isn’t something you see every day. Entitled beggars keep surprising us with their haggling attempts. Surely, this crocodile is worth more than $1,000. The seller might be ending up with a pretty good deal if he takes the baby crocodile. He could end up with a lot more profit than he was expecting (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Perfect Revenge

We were about to lose hope in humanity until we saw how these artists responded. DMC shamelessly asked a bunch of artists to stitch these patterns for free. The artists decided to participate, but now how they expected. Instead of receiving a bunch of cool patterns, they received stern messages from artists telling them to pay them. It’s unfortunate that a major hand embroidery thread company even asked artists to work for free in the first place. We agree with the artists, they deserve to get paid for doing work (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

World Of Materialism

This person used all the wrong tactics to try and convince someone to teach for free. We understand the desire to learn and expand your knowledge, but trying to guilt trip someone and then blaming them when they don’t agree with you is the wrong thing to do. Then, they reacted and said they “knew you wouldn’t answer now because it’s a world of materialism.” They couldn’t be further from the truth. There’s a reason people expect to be paid for their services, it’s how they make a living. So this person isn’t wrong, it is a world of materialism. We all have to earn, somehow (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Free Expectations

We can’t believe this person even asked their friend to use their Gmail for free. That’s one of the most personal accounts out there. Not only that, but they also asked to use their Hulu account for free. Expecting someone to work and then use their accounts for free is horrible. They’re taking advantage of their friend with no exchange. That doesn’t sound like a friend, it sounds like one of those entitled beggars that just uses people. At least this person put up their boundaries and didn’t let their friend walk all over them. They need to quit and use that money to pay for a Hulu and Gmail account (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Can’t Be A Chooser

Again, there’s a reason for the saying “beggars can’t be choosers.” We understand being a single mom around Christmas is tough, but you can’t have high expectations if you’re asking for something for free. This person’s friend found a free couch for them, but they didn’t want it because it wasn’t in the color they wanted. If they have a certain look in mind, then they need to make some money so they can afford the couch of their dreams. Until then, they’re going to have to accept whatever is given to them (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Donate Instead

Jobs are hard to come by, especially when you’re homeless. This business kindly offered this guy a job at $10/hour, but he ultimately rejected it because he said he makes more money than them. It’s ridiculous that this beggar turned down a job because it wasn’t enough. He had something handed to him and instead decided to be one of those entitled beggars who expect the world to bow down to them. This one angers us but we appreciate the sign. Maybe he’ll learn a thing or two about working and earning (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Sob Story For A Mani/Pedi

This person’s post is certainly earned. They’re kindly asking the internet if they know this couple that scammed them. When you’re a small business and need to count every penny that hits your pocket, you can’t afford to get scammed by entitled beggars. At least they’re able to publicly shame this couple in the hopes someone will recognize them. This is one of the nicest shaming posts we’ve ever seen on the internet (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Lowballing For An iPhone

If this person wanted a $30 phone, they should look into buying a cheap flip phone. It’s not this seller’s fault they can’t afford a $200 iPhone, which is already a cheap price. Entitled beggars go out of their way to try and get an offer or product as cheaply as possible. We’re surprised if it would ever work. When their offer didn’t work, they tried to guilt-trip the seller by cursing them out. Likely, they’re still looking for that iPhone to this very day (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Thought We Were Mates

Mates don’t give their friends money for free, especially friends they haven’t spoken to in a while. It’s extremely rude to ask your friend for money out of the blue. We understand that asking for help is tough, but asking someone you’ve barely spoken to is ill-mannered. Luckily this person kept up their boundaries and didn’t just lend this person, who’s practically a stranger, some money (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

A Financial Situation

Selling a car is hard, especially trying to sell one that’s not in tip-top shape. But seriously, trying to buy a car for $20? They’re better off going to the toy shop and buying a plastic car. Being in a tough financial situation is never fun, but if they only have twenty bucks to spend on a car, there’s a lot they need to get sorted. First of all, they shouldn’t even be looking to buy a car, and secondly, they need to find a better job if that’s all they have to spare. Lowballing an offer is disrespectful (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Christmas Grinch

Based on this message exchange, it sounds like this parent is the Grinch, not the seller. The seller tried to be reasonable and asked if his kid was old enough to operate a drone. Seven-year-old sounds too young to have a drone, there’s a lot that goes into flying it. Plus, they need to have an iPhone. The buyer tried to haggle the price from $400 to $100 and called the seller a Grinch when he was rejected. Luckily, the seller had a decent comeback. Without actually calling him a name, he sent him a nice message with an underlying tone of the harsh truth (via Everyday Monkey).

Everyday Monkey

Haven’t Heard Of Your Brand

This person tried to convince the artist to draw them a logo for free. Not only are they a mystery brand no one’s heard of, but they tried to use that tactic to convince the artist it’s an honor to draw for them. Declining that offer and using that time saved to draw a logo for a paying customer. This person needs to respect the artist’s time and effort, and maybe only then will they find an artist willing to work for them for real money (via Everyday Monkey).
