West is one of the most polarizing stars in the world. The rapper had an opioid problem in 2018 but this was because he had plastic surgery. He went through a lot of emotional trauma at the time and it became too much to handle. Most people agree that it’s not the healthiest motivation to get plastic surgery (via New Beauty).

“Two days before I was in the hospital I was on opioids,” West said. “I was addicted to opioids. I’d plastic surgery because I was trying to look good for y’all. I got liposuction because I didn’t want y’all to call me fat like y’all called Rob at the wedding and made him fly home before me and Kim got married.”
