25. Cook At Home Instead of Eating Out
Eating out is expensive, and many middle-class families are shocked to realize how much money they are spending each month by going to restaurants instead of the grocery store. Sure, eating out may be more convenient than cooking at home, and it more fun. But it can put a dent in your budget.
You can probably cut your food expenditures in half if you stop eating out so much. If you miss having dinners with friends, invite them over for a home-cooked meal at your place. Cooking for a group of friends can be cheaper than just one meal at a sit-down restaurant.
