These Animals Got Caught Being Hilarious Out Of Nowhere

29) Pigeon Trail

After looking at this pigeon’s footprints, we can only assume it’s stressed. It’s pacing back and forth, in an attempt to solve some dire problem. Or, he’s trying to reach his daily 10,000 steps. Or, it’s actually morse code for all the other pigeons in the area. This pigeon could be a secret agent who’s trying to warn the other pigeons about trouble to come. Either way, he was caught being funny, and little did he know he was being watched – and photographed (via Wacko Jaco).

28) Big Bear

This bear thinks he’s a bird. It’s surprising that he managed to climb up the birdhouse in the first place, and that the birdhouse is supporting his weight. Maybe he thinks he can fly. Or he’s waiting for his bird friend to come outside so he can have a chat with him. Regardless, a brave person caught him being funny. This is a great photo, considering it’s rare to see a bear on top of a small, rickety bird house. We wouldn’t even trust that bird house with our human weight, let alone a bear’s weight. However, if the bear fell off, he probably wouldn’t get too injured, since it’s a short fall (via Wacko Jaco).

27) Tiny Bird Home

This is one of the cutest bird homes we’ve ever seen. This hummingbird managed to find the perfect little spot. He even has a leaf roof, which is wonderful protection from the rain. Hummingbirds are some of the smartest birds in the world. They weigh less than a nickel and can even fly backward. They flap their wings fast and ferociously, at a whopping speed of 80 beats per second. Next summer, put a hummingbird feeder in your backyard to attract these magnificent little animals (via Wacko Jaco).

26) New Haircut

We’ve all had a crazy haircut or two. This Highland Cow is no exception. He rocks his fringe and has awesome hair. He looks tough like he owns the farm. His farmer caught him being cute with his haircut while he was enjoying some luscious grass. He doesn’t even seem to notice his new hairdo, since he’s so distracted with the food in his mouth. He deserves to win a hair contest. All of the other cows should follow suit. He’s certainly onto something (via Wacko Jaco).

25) Hammocks Are Confusing

If you’ve never used a hammock before, chances are, you won’t know how to use it at first. This dog looks utterly confused. He’s wondering what he’s supposed to do now. Interestingly, his legs fit perfectly through the holes in the hammock. He might be wondering why humans find hammocks so comfortable. This dog spent most of his life watching humans drink lemonade, read books, and sleep in hammocks. Now, he’s wondering where it all went wrong, and why he’s not the one doing that. The other dog is probably laughing at him for being funny. It’s quite the scene. Hopefully, that dog wasn’t stuck there for too long and managed to escape (via Life Buzz).

24) Tortoise Travel

This dog is probably saying, “let’s go, let’s go!” Little does he know that the tortoise is going to move at an incredibly slow pace. The dog is better off using his four legs and running to his destination unless he’s lazy and prefers being funny. The tortoise doesn’t seem to mind and is gladly carrying the dog. Maybe he’s a Tortoise Taxi and the dog is paying him in treats he steals from the house (via Holidog Times).

23) Smiling Horse

Everyone, say cheese! This horse is hamming it up big time. He’s being funny and all we can do is giggle. He makes the entire photo. We didn’t even notice the other people in the photograph, since the horse takes the cake. He has a beautiful smile that the world needs to see. It’s one of the greatest photobombs on the internet. If the world had more photos of smiling animals, it would be a better place (via Wacko Jaco).

22) Biscuit Stealer

This cat is stealthy and we’ll give him credit for his attempted theft. He failed, though, when his owner caught him being funny. He’s a total ninja and managed to lower himself down from the table in an attempt to steal the biscuits. That takes some serious skill. What is he using to support his body? Maybe the cat is actually part monkey, and his tail is wrapped around something. It’s something that takes a lot of skill though. Maybe he was practicing for weeks on end and waiting until he perfected the move so he could use it to steal food. These animals are smarter than we give them credit for (via Bored Panda).

21) Bear Bribes

Animals bribe each other too. Apparently, a bear was bribing this dog every evening with deer bones for access to this guy’s trash. That’s definitely a clever deal. These two are up to no good, and the owner caught them. We’ll give the dog, credit, though, he’s smart. Instead of trying to fend off the bear, he decided to make friends with him. That’s a better idea since a bear is at least three times his size. If that dog angered the bear, there’s no saying what he would do to him (via Wacko Jaco).

20) Chicken Blanket

This chicken looks like one of the warmest blankets ever. These animals were caught being funny when the dog decided to cuddle up underneath the chicken and shut his eyes out to the world. We can’t blame the dog since it seems like this chicken is providing all of the safety and comfort this dog needs. At the same time, he also looks like his protector. The chicken’s face alone is enough for us to back away, slowly, and not go anywhere near the dog. One of the best parts about the photo, though, is the little chick next to them both. He’s like the mini protector (via Life Buzz).

19) Stolen Peanut Butter

Dogs love peanut butter. For some reason, once that gooey deliciousness hits their tongues, they go wild. It’s a nonstop lick-fest because the peanut butter is so sticky that it never seems to go away. This dog was caught with peanut butter all over his face. He probably thought he got away with stealing the peanut butter. But lo and behold, it stuck to his fur, giving his secret away. Just look at that cheeky grin. He looks like he’s trying his best to pretend there isn’t a tablespoon of peanut butter in his mouth. We can’t blame him, though, since we’re prone to stealing a tablespoon or three of peanut butter on a daily basis (via Bored Panda).

18) Hidden Food Packets

There’s no better place to hide a bunch of food packets except inside a dryer, apparently. This cat stole a bunch of food packets and thought the best place to hide the packets was inside a dryer. She probably thought her owners wouldn’t use the dryer and would never suspect it was her. Or maybe she thought they’d assume the packets fell out of someone’s pants while they were drying. Either way, we have to give her credit for her cleverness, even if she was ultimately caught being funny in the end. But the biggest question is how the cat managed to open the dryer in the first place. She must have some pretty special paws if she could open a dryer on her own (via Bored Panda).

17) Sleeping Pup

We all have our favorite sleeping positions. Most of us sleep on our sides, with one leg up, on our back, or on our stomach. This dog prefers to sleep upside down. We’re not sure we’d pick that position, but if it works for this dog, then that’s all that matters. He was caught being funny during a nap. Perhaps he always sleeps like this, but his owners never see him because they’re sleeping, too. Either way, it’s adorable, and we’re thankful his owners caught him in the act of cuteness. It must not be very comfortable, though, to sleep with your legs sticking straight up into the air (via Life Buzz).

16) Sink Nap

There’s no better place to lie down than a sink. This cat was caught being funny when he decided to lie down right in the sink. Maybe the curve of the sink is comforting, or he likes the smoothness of the sink material. Or, he likes the little water droplets that land on his fur, cooling him down. There’s no way his owners will use the sink now, considering a large fluffy animal is taking up all the space. Maybe they had to somehow wash their hands around his body. The cat looks very open about it as if he’s expecting a big hug from his owner (via Life Buzz).

15) The Fish Thief

Just like dogs love peanut butter, cats love fish. There’s no stopping a cat when they’re on a fish mission. This cat found the jackpot when he discovered a vat full of fish on the side of the road. He nonchalantly stood up on his hind legs and went for it. He was caught being funny, though, when someone snapped a photo for evidence. Let’s hope they let him keep one fish for a nice, tasty meal. 14) The Cupcake Stealer

Cupcakes are some of the tastiest desserts out there. Lola thinks so, too, when she stole a cupcake and put the wrapper on the bed. The evidence isn’t more obvious. She was caught being funny when her owners discovered the cupcake wrapper. We can only imagine their conversation between her owners: “did you eat a cupcake?” “No, did you?” “Nope!” That’s when they realized it was Lola who ate the cupcake. 13) Swimming Position

This dog has successfully created the “swimming dog” yoga pose. She was caught being funny in her swimming position, when her owners discovered her on her belly with her legs spread out in every direction. Honestly, this pose looks comfortable and is probably great for stretching all those tight parts of our body that we normally don’t stretch. Maybe she’s in the middle of a dream and is imagining herself as a dolphin in the middle of the open sea (via Life Buzz).

12) Secret Pasta

This dog thought he got away with stealing pasta, only to find out that he left some on his nose. That gave it all away. He was caught being funny after the act. Unfortunately, the pasta gave it all away, otherwise, he would’ve gotten away with it. This might’ve been the second, third, or even tenth time he’s done it, though. We’ll never know. 11) Stolen Bread Rolls

This dog has a full mouthful! There are at least eight hoagie rolls in his mouth. He looks like he was kept busy by stealing a bunch of hoagie rolls. He deserves an A for effort since he managed to fit tons of rolls in his mouth. Honestly, he deserves to keep every single one of those rolls, especially because he was caught being funny and doesn’t even seem to care. He found the jackpot and doesn’t look like he’ll be sharing those rolls anytime soon (via Bored Panda).

10) Cooper’s Sandwich Shop

Because this dog was caught being funny, he had a sandwich shop named after him. This is something all of us can ever dream of. He loved the sandwiches so much that the owners decided to honor him and name their business after him. What an accomplishment. The best part about this photo, though, is the logo, which is exactly the same as this dog and his sandwich. 9) Fresh Eggs

This dog is one of the best pets in the world. He loves his owners so much that he brings them fresh eggs. He probably hopes his owners will cook them up and make them for him. Dogs just love their scrambled eggs. It’s adorable, and he’s caught being funny daily. Those are probably some delicious eggs. The most impressive part about this, though, is that the dog can carry the eggs in his mouth without breaking them. We can barely manage to carry an egg with our hands without dropping them. Whenever animals want food, they usually hang around the table in the hopes that their owners will accidentally drop a piece of food on the ground. This cat takes it to an entirely new level and lurks directly behind the plate. Maybe he’s hoping his owners won’t see him, and will accidentally fling something toward him. Either way, he was caught being funny. From the angle of the photo, it looks like his tongue is slowly creeping toward the plate of food. 7) Meditating Lemur

This lemur was caught being funny in a grass field while he was meditating. It’s not every day you see an animal meditating to a higher deity, but apparently, it happens. Maybe it even happens more often than we’re aware of. To be honest, he looks calmer than most of us look daily. He has the pose down perfectly. Even the sunlight is touching his fur in a beautiful way. He looks like he could be on the cover of a self-help magazine for animals (via Life Buzz).

It looks like animals meditate more often than we originally thought. This dog plopped right onto his owner’s lap and meditated with her during a yoga and meditation session. Someone snapped a photo of him and caught him being funny. He looks like a professional. Perhaps he secretly teaches dog yoga when his owners are at work.
