Things come up. That’s why we have to cancel or reschedule plans. Usually, it’s without consequence, except if it’s the “Late Night with David Letterman” show. This Reddit user shared how they canceled their reservation to the show, and the intern told them, very seriously, “you should know if you cancel you will never be allowed back. Ever!” That alone would make us not want to go. If you have to cancel your reservation for a famous show in NYC and are banned because of it, that’s pretty harsh. Money certainly makes the world go round. We applaud this Reddit user for taking a stand and pocketing the extra 20 dollars. We’d do the same. Not only did he make money, but he also helped out a fellow student. It’s a shame the bookstore owner didn’t want to help them out, especially since they’re young students with a limited amount of cash. That 20 dollars can go a long way, and surely there’s another bookstore in the area he can bring his business to. It was worth getting banned from the bookstore (via Complicated_Business).
