Washington â€” Washington State University

Another great school that doesn’t cost a lot to attend is Washington State University. This school is in Pullman, Washington which is in the southeastern region of the state. It was founded in 1890 and is one of the American West’s oldest universities. Nearly 30,000 students attend Washington State University each year. There are several divisions of Washington State University, including WSU Vancouver, WSU, Tri-Cities, and WSU Spokane. Washington State University also offers online degree programs.

Washington State University costs roughly $21,240 per year to attend. Tuition is $9,884, or $4,942 per semester. Room and board will set you back $11,356 each year.

West Virginia University is the most affordable college in the state. The main WVU campus is in Morgantown, West Virginia, which is two and a half hours north of the capital city of Charleston. It sits on the high Laramie Plains between the Snowy Range and Laramie mountains at a 7,220 feet elevation.
