The most affordable college in the smallest state in the United States is the University of Rhode Island because of its costs. URI’s main campus is in Kingston which is in southern Rhode Island. But there are several smaller campuses throughout the state. About 15,000 students attend the University of Rhode Island and study in one of 80 Bachelor’s and 49 Master’s degree programs. URI has eight separate academic colleges.

The University of Rhode Island costs about $24,906 per year to attend, making it the best deal in the state due to those figures. Tuition is $12,884, or $6,442 per semester. Room and board will set you back $12,022 each year.
