Celebs Who Are Constantly In and Out of Rehab

Darren July 22, 2024

Many ‘regular’ people think that celebrities have amazing lives that are completely stress-free. But this simply isn’t true as they lead incredibly demanding lives that lead to many of them having substance abuse problems. Bad influences can also surround them at every turn to take advantage of them. These and many other factors all add up and explain why so many A-listers go to rehab.

Over time we’ve seen tons of celebs drifting in and out of rehab with varying results of success. Some of them relapse several times and can’t stay clean over the long haul. Fortunately, however, there are actually some happy stories too as some stars overcame their adversity. But at the end of the day, there’s no denying that drugs and alcohol will also cast a paul on Hollywood. Check out our list of celebs who were in and out of rehab now.

Lovato has been to several rehabs but her preference seems to be facilities in Utah. She went there in 2022 because she no longer wanted to be ‘California sober.’ The singer decided to cut marijuana and alcohol out of her life because it wasn’t helping her reach her goal of staying sober. She knew the risks because they had a traumatic overdose in 2018.

Vanity Fair

He later opened up about the experience. “I’d gotten out of control. For years I could indulge in certain things,” Farrell told David Letterman (via Landmark Recovery). “I had quite a high tolerance for various drugs for years, I thought. It accumulated to the point where I couldn’t put my foot on the brake anymore.” Clearly, he needed help, so it’s good he did what was the best thing for his career and life.

However, her bipolar disorder affected her quality of life. From 2011 she was in and out of rehab as she dealt with her struggles.
