Bocas del Toro, Panama
Sit back, relax, and swim in the turquoise water of Bocas del Toro. While it’s a popular destination for backpackers, it remains one of the most undiscovered places in the world. It lacks infrastructure as an island town. Accommodation is basic, and to get from one bar to the next, you have to take water taxis. There’s Starfish Beach, Bluff Beach, and rocky Bird Island, home to the red-billed tropicbird. It’s an amazing reprieve from the bustling city of Panama City and is home to vegetation and fauna that’s only native to that part of the world. What you see when you’re there is incredibly unique. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience to say the least (via Bocas del Toro).
