A lot of people assume that Amazon will give them the best deal, but that is not always true. Just because you have a Prime account doesn’t mean it’s the best place to make your purchase. Always double-check with Walmart, eBay, and even the Dollar Tree. In a lot of cases, you may be shocked to see that you can get the same items for just $1 instead of $5. All of these small purchases eventually add up over time.

Even if you are just shopping at one store, and you don’t have the time to go somewhere else, always compare prices between the various brands on the shelves. The cheapest products are usually kept at the bottom shelf, and the more expensive things are kept at eye-level. Also compare how much it costs to get the “bulk” sizes, because bigger does not always mean you are saving money.
