20. Roamler

Roamler is a Dutch information technology company that utilizes ordinary people to come up with solutions for businesses. Users perform repeatable tasks for payment. Roamler is divided into retail, tech, and care. We will go into detail about these three categories in a second. To become a Romaler, you must participate in training exercises both in the app and in person. Roamlers must also perform a few internal tasks before they can start working for clients. After you become an official member, you will be matched to a client based on your location, experience level, and skill. Your work is continually being monitored to ensure that participants are doing quality work.

Do you shop frequently? Try working for the retail section of Roamler. Here, your tasks can be as simple as taking pictures of products in a store so a company can determine if they need more marketing in an area or if they are content with the way their product is being displayed. Each company creates posts with a brief description of what they are looking for, and workers submit their photos through either the website or the app. It’s then reviewed by the buyer, and they get to choose which picture they would like to purchase.

What is incredible about this site (for the buyer) is that the operators of the website will help you with your request by helping you create your brief (which describes precisely what you are looking for). Snapwire then assigns a few different artists to your cause. Buyers can then download the images they approve as many times as they like and have the option to copyright images. Payouts vary, as with all of the other sites mentioned so far, but this site seems to pay more than others discussed: most chosen photos earn an average of $50.

16. Qustodian

This relatively new site is based in the United Kingdom. Qustodian sends users personalized offers, promotions, and news from companies that interest you. Again, your smartphone is needed to download the app. Messages are sent to you in a Qustodian specific inbox, and you get to use your discretion as to when you receive messages.

How exactly do you earn money on this site? You earn money by interacting with messages for which Qustodian receives income. You can also earn cash if people within your network respond to messages. This mostly entails providing feedback on apps or other services. The payout for this website is a little more complicated than other services discussed thus far. The website does have sales periodically, which drastically reduces the cost of classes. Some of the most popular courses include development, design, photography, business, marketing, music, IT and software, and personal development.

This service is excellent for those who want to get a college education but simply don’t have the means to go back to school. Not only are the courses more affordable, but they also allow you to work at your own pace by allowing lifetime access to all courses once you have signed up and paid for said courses. Sadly, the only way to actually earn money on the site is to become an instructor. The average earning for instructors is $8,000 a year. Although this may not seem like much, instructors are paid every time their course is taken, which means you can earn money years after creating a course.

This website is similar to ones we’ve already discussed, but it’s worth a mention. Options vary here with users being able to answer surveys, respond to emails, and take up offers to earn points. Points may also be obtained by shopping and playing games. You can then exchange your points for products. Redeem points through Maximiles’ catalog, which offers prizes ranging from music to homeware. You can access Maximiles either directly through the web or by downloading their application.

Becoming a member is completely free. Enter some necessary information and you start earning points for products. The website offers a free 100 Maximiles points just for signing up. Answering profile questionnaires may also help you to obtain a plethora of more points. Be warned there are some caveats to this service: you must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid email address in order to sign up and start earning rewards. Also, internet access is required in order to participate in any activity. Since this is a U.K program, it is only available to those who reside in the U.K.

Another photography based application, Clashot allows users to take and edit photos they believe are worth money. The form is available for both Android and Apple users. This new system was developed by Depositphotos and utilized a photobank system. Users will soon realize that Clashot functions similarly to other social media websites, using “likes” and “shares” as ways for photographers to earn money for their work. Some expert reviewers rate photos financially. Every like from an Expert can make you cash.

Downloading the application is simple: you may retrieve it from the official Clashot website, Google Play, or the Apple App Store. Membership is open to anyone across the globe who is 18 years of age or older. Some information is required at the time you sign up, such as your name, demographics, and email address. Photos will only be accepted for payment if they have a title and appropriate taglines such as location and a short description. All writing content must be about web design. Do not think this process is easy: since they do not publish posts that often, they do not accept posts on a very steady basis. Once your writing has been approved, you will be paired with an editor from the website’s team in order to make proper and necessary revisions.

What you submit for publication can vary, including a rough draft, a short pitch, or an outline. Remember to keep all content original, you cannot take content from your own blog for submission and payment on this site. Be warned: do not send in press releases or sales pitches…you will be sadly disappointed. All of the articles are written in a list format (hence the name of the website). Though this may seem simple, remember that your essay must contain a thesis and clear argument and must be applicable to web designers. The pay is usually around $200 per post.

This website is a bit different than what we’ve seen so far. This particular site is powered by Swagbucks, another site that offers rewards for completing surveys and watching videos. My Gift Cards Plus offers electronic gift cards (plastic cards are also available) from hundreds of popular brands; these gift cards are sent to your email within one to two business days of being purchased (physical gift cards take about 14 days to travel through the mail). What is neat about this site is that every time you are buying a gift card, you earn Swagbucks (it is best to link accounts, so you receive your Swagbucks). Swagbucks can then be used to buy gift cards.

This website operates under a cashback system: for each gift card purchased, you earn $1. Almost every brand you can think of offers gift cards for multiple values from this site. Every gift card offers its own additional cashback incentive, ranging from 3.00% to a whopping 10.00% cashback. What is interesting about this site is that if your order is canceled for any reason, your credit card will not be charged; however, it may take up to seven days for a refund to show up in your account.

This website is another place for writers to congregate. Articles range in topics, including analytics, business strategy, content strategy, information architecture, interaction design, philosophy, research, universal design and accessibility, and visual design. This niche is not easy to gain access to: UX only hires writers who have experience and formal training in journalism, technical writing, creative writing, communications, and public relations. Writers for UK Booth have several responsibilities, including research, writing (of course), and collaboration. In essence, UX Booth is looking for user experience in their writers.

This website is another way for users to evaluate other websites and applications. All you have to do is visit a specific site or app, complete a set of tasks, voice your thoughts and opinions, and get paid for the time you spent. The only item required for sign up is an email address, where the websites and apps to be evaluated will be sent. The way you voice your opinions is through a 20-minute video. Every video will earn you $10 that is paid through PayPal.

What exactly do you need to make these videos for quick cash? Obviously, a laptop will be required, and you can use either a PC or MAC. A good internet connection and a microphone are also needed for the videos to be completed properly. If you want to take tests in place of making videos, you will need either an Apple or Android phone or tablet. You must also have the space available to download User Testing’s software, be 18 years of age or older, and you must speak English clearly. The number of offers you receive will all depend on your demographics and quality rating.

Enroll is a relatively new site that allows consumers to take tests on their mobile devices to try out new companies and products. You can also take quizzes on the application. The goal of Enroll is to help companies make better choices when it comes to interacting with their customers. You, the consumer, can aid companies in their decision in logo, page design, and new product development. As a tester, you will be one of the first people to view and evaluate new projects companies are currently working on. The primary payout system used by Enroll is PayPal.

Unsure of whether or not to join the Enroll testers? Feel free to take the sample test they offer on their website, which honestly only takes a few minutes. If the test is to your liking, sign up using your email address and a password of your choosing. You will also be asked about your testing preferences (mobile device, tablet, or computer) as well as a bunch of demographic information (name, age, location, schooling, yearly income). Tests will then become available to you based on the answers to all of these questions. The payout is generally not the best, at a few dollars per test, so it’s ultimately up to you to decide if it is worth your time.

Yet another way to sell your photos, Foap is an online site where companies can view photographs submitted by ordinary people. Foap also allows you to sell videos. All that is required of companies is a detailed description of what they are looking for in their photo or video. Then it turns over to the content creators, aka you. The company ultimately chooses which visual to go with.

For the creators, you can download an application that makes uploading videos and photos a breeze. On the app, you can create a portfolio of all of your work. Companies have the option to peruse portfolios, and if they find something they like, they purchase it. The only downfall to this site is that they split the profit with you 50/50. Again, creators also have the option to view Mission briefs, which are put out by brands looking for specific content. You can then respond with your best photos or videos in the hopes that they choose your content. Prices can range from $5 to over $50 an item.

6. StartUpLift

This is another way for consumers to answer questions about different companies. The company was started in order to help businesses grow. The basic premise is that users will leave reviews about companies and get paid for each review they leave. As a reviewer, you are sent offers from different companies, and it is up to you which companies you wish to review. If and only if your review is accepted, you are rewarded with $5. The only downfall is that you are limited to five reviews a day.

Similar to other sites mentioned, StartUpLift uses PayPal to compensate reviewers for their time. Another downside to the site is that there are a limited amount of brands to be reviewed; only about 10 to 15 different choices are to be had each week. Adding to the weak points is the fact that participation is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so it’s essential to check the site frequently. Only an email address is needed for someone to sign up and start earning money. Signing up costs nothing, which is another added bonus.

5. Twenty20

A community for those who wish to buy and sell photos, Twenty20 is a place where individuals can purchase royalty-free stock photos. The company was founded in 2014 out of California. For photographers, the site is free to use, but there are paid options available for advertisers; options include a la carte and subscription. For example, subscriptions start from $17/month. Subscriptions are useful for those who want to license a photo. Licensing a photo on Twenty20 requires you to use their standard royalty-free license. You also must use a photo credit to download a picture, which can only be obtained through a subscription plan.

There are three ways to earn money through this site. The first way is to sell a photo outright; every time a business licenses one of your photos, you receive a commission. Twenty20 also provides photo challenges that can be completed for cash. An editor of the site chooses the winning photo, and you get to keep 100% of the prize. Content creators might also decide to do commissioned work. If a specific brand wants to work with you, the site will facilitate a meeting between the business and you so work can begin.

4. Analysia

This site is similar to User Testing in that you take tests for different businesses and brands and get paid $10 for your participation. What exactly are these tests? The analysis includes a set of instructions that must be completed on a particular website. The entire session is recorded, with audio and your screen being saved. Each task takes about 15 minutes to complete. Anyone can participate in these tasks as long as they have a good microphone on their device. A good internet connection is also needed to ensure good quality results.

This site, like so many others before it, uses PayPal to dish out payments. All you need to sign up with Analysia is your name, a valid email address, and a password. You will be contacted via email when new tasks are available for you. With this comes a downfall: you may not be eligible to take a test every day. Testers are selected based on certain criteria that specific companies are looking for. The site is free to use for testers, but companies have to pay $40/month to use the site and create tasks to help evaluate their business or website.

Want another way to earn cashback? Look no further. Based out of India, this site aims to help customers make money while they spend money. It’s free to join, and the site boasts earning shoppers up to 103% cashback (though you must use an Amazon payout method). With no hidden fees or annual fees, TopCashback is one of the cheaper and more lucrative cashback sites to join. They also claim to have the highest cashback rates; if you can find a price better than the one they provide, they’ll match it.

What makes this site so unique is that they do not have a minimum payout requirement and you may request a withdrawal of funds at any time. If you only want to withdraw part of your balance, the website allows you to split your payments. There are a few different ways to receive your funds: TopCashback pays by bank transfer or gift voucher. Receiving your money costs nothing at all: all withdrawals are free. There are extra incentives for using specific payout methods: if you use Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards, Love2Shop Shopping Cards, or any other high-end gift card, you will receive an extra cashback bonus.

Moving back overseas, this Australian company operates a freelance platform to connect graphic designers and clients. Initially started in 2008, the company has since expanded to the United States, establishing offices in California. Clients construct a brief, explaining what it is they are looking for in their graphic design. What can be designed on this site? Pretty much anything you can think of: logos, website design, application design, business, advertising, clothing, and merchandise can all be created to your specifications. Turnaround time depends on the complexity of the project, and the price also reflects that: logo designs start at $300.

Clients can either choose to hire a designer they desire, or they may open up a contest to the community on 99Designs and pick from random submissions. Each designer will set their own price, but clients have the ability to get quotes from multiple designers and negotiate fares before they choose whom they want to work with. Designers receive a rating so you can also select the experience level that most satisfies your needs. If you and your designer click, you may work together on future projects.

Here is another place to share and sell photos; this site offers users the ability to use their camera and filter to shoot and upload photos. Signing up is simple: use either your email, Facebook, or Google. After that, you can go right ahead and upload pictures using either the web directly or through their app. After your photo is submitted, what happens next? A team at EyeEM reviews every picture to see if there is a need for a release before the image can be placed on the market. Some photos, after being evaluated, will be placed in the Partner Collection, which allows partners to distribute the image. Keep in mind that the review process may take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

Although EyeEM can not give you a definitive answer on how long it takes for photos to sell, they do encourage steady uploading so your chances of being discovered increases. After you have sold a picture, you may link up your PayPal account to receive your funds. The only downfall is that payment may take up to seven days to receive. Another bad aspect: you share the profits with EyeEM 50/50. And finally some good news: you are always the copyright holder of all of your uploaded content.
