This person learned the hard way why it isn’t smart to have checkboxes in a proposal, as the person they proposed to checked the No box. Look, we can’t say we’re surprised. This is a bit lazy for a marriage proposal, and it seems more appropriate for when you want to ask a date to go with you to your high school prom and not for someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. We hope this person got a second chance.

It is always brutal to get a rejection, but getting one after a marriage proposal, is a unique kind of pain we wish on nobody. Always make sure the other side is ready for the next step.

Getting a proposal by airplane writing is kind of magical, and is usually seen in movies, not real life. We never thought about trucks as symbols of love, but we guess this couple (or at least one of them) had that thought cross their mind.
