Silverstone was a regular feature on MTV and appeared on many magazine covers. Meanwhile, many people objectified her as one of the sex symbols of the decade.

But she disappeared out of nowhere after 1997’s Batman & Robin. The media body-shamed her for her appearance as Batgirl and the pressure of fame took its toll. In the end, she left Hollywood behind but came back to work on TV. Silverstone is also a committed vegan and even released a cookbook (via The List).
