Most people know Knoxville as the face of the Jackass franchise. However, he was also a genuine actor and worked with Simpson on The Dukes of Hazzard movie. She openly admits to cheating on her husband Nick Lachey with her co-star. But she has no regrets because Knoxville provided solace in a difficult time (via Harper’s Bazaar).

In her book, Simpson described how she felt when she was with Knoxville. She wrote: “I could share my deepest authentic thoughts with him, and he didn’t roll his eyes at me. He actually liked that I was smart and embraced my vulnerabilities. He believed in me and made me feel I could do anything.”
